Silky Mineral Rich Milk Recipe
Here’s a recipe I scooped up from David Wolfe. If you don’t have all of the ingredients it’s ok. You are the boss of your blender drinks! Be creative. You can use olive or avocado oil instead of coconut oil, pine nuts or other nuts instead of hemp seeds. It is best if you soak the nuts overnight. You can use any of your favorite superfood powders instead of mucuna pruriens, although I wouldn’t leave that one out myself but you could use maca or lucuma powder. He uses powdered shilajit, mixes better in cold drinks. I would add Concentrace Minerals for sure, especially if I didn’t have fulvic acid or shilajit. David Wolfe, like Terry, says that minerals are essential for good health and that you simply cannot get enough of them from regular food. Speaking of Terry, if this was his recipe he would add nutritional yeast I’m sure. It would probably be good, I find it does in any milk based smoothie, whether plant based or not. I usually add nutmeg to mine as well and a couple drops of iodine and sole salt!
INGREDIENTS
2 cups water (I use distilled water and/or colloidal silver)
¼ cup hemp seeds
1 ½ Tbsp melted coconut oil
1 Tbsp Mucuna Pruriens
1/4 tsp. shilajit
½ tsp. Vanilla
1 dropper fulvic/humic acid
Honey or other healthy sweetener to taste, I often use molasses and a date or 2. Avoid artificial sweeteners like the plague. Monk fruit or stevia are recommended for those on a sugar free diet.
